Pokémon Company to developed a new MOBA Game called "Pokémon: Unite".

The Pokémon Company enters the MOBA arena with the announcement of Pokémon Unite. The game was announced in a livestreamed event called Pokémon Presents. The game is being developed in cooperation with Tencent and Timi Studios, the studio behind another mobile MOBA,Arena of Valor,andCall of Duty: Mobile.

Pokémon UNITE introduces a new kind of Pokémon battle—one that requires teamwork and strategy. It is simple and yet full of intricacies waiting to be unpacked. The game will be free-to-play but likely with microtransactions. It will be available on iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch, with cross-platform play support.

In this game, players face off against each other in 5-on-5 team battles. During battles, players will cooperate with teammates to catch wild Pokémon, level up and evolve their own Pokémon, and defeat opponents’ Pokémon while trying to earn more points than the opposing team within the allotted time.
