Our fathers play a special role in our life and they deserve every source of happiness. We celebrate Father's Day to honour our dads and this is the day to tell them how special they are for you!

Celebrated on the third Sunday of every June, Father's Day was first marked in the United States on June 19, 1910, to honour fathers across the country and all the father figures. Interestingly, it was a woman who started the celebration of a day. Sonora Smart Dodd, an American woman was raised by her dad after their mother passed away and was bothered since there wasn't a day to express gratitude for whatever he did. While she wanted the celebrations to be held nationwide on her father's birthday, June 05, planning difficulties pushed the day to be marked on June 19, 1910.
Father's day celebrations have seen a major change ever since and is now, marked in a big way in the world as well. From gifts to special bakes, there are countless ways to pamper your dad, but nothing expresses emotions than a beautiful wish from the heart.
A famous historical reference reads:
"Either we honour both our parents, mother and father, or let us desist from honouring either one. But to single out just one of our two parents and omit the other is the most grievous insult imaginable."
